GALATIANS: WEEK 5 - WHO'S ALIVE?
(Is it just me, or do you feel like singing "Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gee's too? Also, that rhymed)
*ahem*
When someone works hard to live "right" it's usually a sign that they're the ones trying to win the fight, but Paul says that if we know Jesus we’re not really alive anymore. Jesus is alive in us. The question is, do we believe that in a real and tangible way? Or is it just an interesting thing to say? What does it mean to seek Christ alive inside of us instead of seeking for him outside of us or even in other people?
Andy Sikora is out of town this weekend. Bryan Karas will be teaching and we're excited to welcome Bryan’s brother Tim Karas as our worship leader. Bring a friend, come at 7:07pm and we'll join together in worship!

CVC MEMBERSHIP
If you've ever considered becoming a member of CVC, you have a chance to do that soon. The first part of membership classes, Tell Me More, explain more about CVC, who we are and why we exist.

CVC is needs additional electric guitarists to serve on the Instrumental Arts team. You should have their own instrument and be able to fluently read chord charts. FRESH COAT WORK DAYS
Fresh Coat Cleveland works in partnership with Teams To The Nations, the City of Cleveland’s Department of Aging, and Sherwin-Williams Paint Company, beautifying homes of low income elderly and disabled citizens of Cleveland.
In addition to the ongoing summer schedule for painting homes, CVC has picked the following days for church-wide participation: July 11th, August 15th and September 19th.
Meet at 8:00am at CVC on the Saturday you sign up for. Wear work clothes and bring a lunch. For more info contact Charles Bulanda: 330.840.9217

CVC SPORTS CAMP
On Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, CVC is hosting a sports camp for kids Kindergarten through student having completed Grade 6. Two session options: 9am-Noon or 6pm-9pm. Some of the activities will include cheerleading, martial arts, soccer, basketball, and flag football.
