Ok, last night I was totally fan girl when I got to interview Janet Evanovich, author of the popular Stephanie Plum series.

I've been reading Janet's books for years and wanted to delve into the mind who created such memorable characters as Lula, Grandma Mazur, Sally, cousin Vinny and of course, Morelli and Ranger (decisions, decisions).

I caught up with Janet at Borders in Nashville and did a fun video interview (I'm sure I'll get a call any day about hosting my own show).

You can catch all the action by reading my Beyond Her Book blog by clicking here.

Me and Alex Evanovich (Janet's daughter) discussing Morelli vs Ranger.

Great pic of you, Barb! Glad to see you're getting out of wintry Wisconsin sometimes!

Great interview.

I love the Stephanie Plum novels. I'm also currently reading "Plum Spooky".
I sure hope
that Stephanie ends up with Joe.

Lucky you. I'd love to meet her. I waited until she had 11 books out to marathon read her. I have 'Plum Spooky' set aside for tonight. She's amazing and laugh-out-loud funny.

Hey Barb! I LOVED Plum Spooky. It was perfect, wacky fun as always. And by the way...Ranger all the way! He curls my toes.

I enjoy reading the Stephanie Plum stories. I find myself getting lost in the Burg and can't put the book down until it's done. Each one brings more laughter and her grandmother is a pip.
