Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you all know we now have now no distribution company to get our records in the stores, so for the time being everything will be for sale through the label direct.

I'd like to thank Code7 for taking us on and hope they manage to steer their way through the murky waters of this credit crunch safely.

Over the past year UK retailers have been shutting up shop or consolodating and for a small label like ours it means we're no longer worth the effort, I understand how the big guys do business and unless your a Radio Friendly Unit Shifter (as Kurt Cobain put it) your gonna be first against the wall once the shit comes in, and that appears to be whats happened here.

But worry not brothers and sisters, Motor Sounds is here to stay and we don't need no stinkin' distribution companies to survive.  The truth of the matter is we sell most of our music through the bands or www.motor soundsrecords.com anyway and CODE7 and Motor Sounds were a bit of mismatch from the get go.  For us I'll start to seek out a more "specialised" distro deal as soon as possible so our brothers and sisters across the world can buy the best god damn garagepunkbluesrocknrolllo-fitrash there is.
