Jason Donald Shaw
Jason Donald Shaw was born December 26, 1983 in Plano, Texas, and died in a car accident on July 9, 2006. Jason, a Texan at heart, moved to Prescott in the summer of 1994. Jason attended Granite Mountain Middle School and graduated from Prescott High in the year of 2002. He attended Yavapai and UTI colleges and had been accepted into the Firefighting Program at Yavapai. Jason was an avid sports enthusiast, which included golf, snow boarding and dirt biking in the dunes to name a few. He was working on his pilot's license and had soloed. Jason was talented mechanically and built and modified his own cars, motorcycles and off-road vehicles Extremely social, Jason could turn a gathering into a party. Jason's zest for life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. Jason's spark of compassion and his loyalty will be what his friends and family hold in their hearts. He is survived by his parents, Jane and Marshall Shay; and by the love of his life Jacqui Bogucki; along with his extended family and friends. memorial will be Friday at 7 pm at sunrise funeral home in prescott valley with a viewing from 5 to 7 pm.
