I haven't written any of these things for awhile, 'cause their was a bunch of messed up stuff going on and I didn't want to sound like a big complainy-pants, but now there is some good stuff coming up, so I'm attempting to get back into it.
My long-time favorite bar/venue, The Casbah, is having in the middle of having a month of reunion shows in honor of it's 20 year anniversary.
I'll be playing  Tue 20th in Physics,
Fri 23th in Creedle,
Sun 25th in Optiganally Yours AND Creedle (early matinee show)
and Wed 28th in Goblin Cock.
I'll also be playing with Creedle on the 21st at Boomers in Las Vegas and
the 22nd at Silver Lake Lounge in Los Angeles.
On the 31st I start a full U.S. Goblin Cock tour,  "Cock Across America", in honor of the release of the new album "Come With Me If You Want To Live" which I put out myself on Robcore Records and comes out on the 27th.
Here's the full tour schedule.

In between all that stuff, I'm trying spend quality time with my wife and kids and checking out a buncha cool shows, such as 3 Mile Pilot, Earthless, Olive Lawn, and No Knife.
I'll be talking about it tonight (jan. 15th) on KPBS between 8-10pm here in San Diego.
I'll also be on 94.9 after the O.Y./Creedle matinee as Lord Phallus, probably around 9-ish.
That is gonna be a hellava day, as it is also Loki Sinjuggler's Birthday.
The new Goblin Cock video for "We Got A Bleeder" should be done around Monday.
Oh Yeah, I learned how to solve a rubicks cube!
I havent beat 3 minutes 20 seconds yet, but I probably average 4 minutes.
I think I'm gonna crash early tonight.
It's only 2:17 a.m.
I'll be writing more frivolously in the future now that I'm caught up.

p.s. Rest In Peace, Terrin Durfey.
You did everything right.

Feel free to stop by for Sunday Brunch in Boise on the 22nd between SLC and Seattle...it's really too bad no one could make the Cock stop in Spudtown. Have a great, safe, and fun trip, J

terrin had a machine that he used to record on, i think it was a roland 8track or something.

he only showed me one or two recordings he did on it, but i know there's probably way more.

if robcore released terrins home recordings i feel like it would complete the circle of his music, not just with bands, but also the music he made whether by himself or with his close friends/family.

i don't know it might go against his wishes, but i feel that its music that needs to be heard.

like your lactose adept album, which is why i started recording in the first place. terrin's home recordings are something special, and maybe keeping them private is up to the durfey's, but i feel that it would only add to his legacy.

My sincerest jealousy on your mastery of the cube. I still have yet to figure it out.
