I AM
I am neither black nor white,
A sunshine day or rainy night.
I am never here or there,
And sometimes doubt I'm anywhere.
I am never happy and yet I'm never sad.
I have never been good and I will never be bad.
I am never crying,
But, you shall never see me smiling.
I am always alone yet I am surrounded.
Way out in the open but I cannot be found.
I am always dreaming,
But I never sleep.
I could be really shallow,
But my center is too deep.
My eyes are open yet, I am blind,
I am brainless but I have a mind.
I can't speak and I can't write,
But when I think everyone's quiet.
