Hello All, I just want to keep you all updated on the writing/performance/production/recording process in our world. As some of you may have noticed, we are starting to get back into playing shows and we have a few scheduled that we are pretty excited about. We are playing our first show back with a band called We The Trees at the Varsity Theater this Wednesday, and we are ready to play some new tunes, as we have many. We also have the honor to be on board to play City of Sound's album release party Sunday the 25th, also this month. That show is going to be the beginning of new times, as there album has been a long time coming, and in a way, I seem to have a personal investment in it's success. Anyway that's neither here nor there, as far as our individual process is concerned, we have been writing a ton of songs this month, all of which we are very proud of. If you are interested in hearing any inklings of new material, watch our new video blog (for lack of a better term, the words "video experience" come to mind) which was published sometime last week. You could also come out to any of the future shows, as any one of us would encourage, and indulge in an entire set for contextual purpose. Right now, we are thinking that the recording process will begin in February and we have begun toiling with how that is going to be. We haven't begun deciding whom we are going to work with ext. ext. A lot of that is still in there. It is my understanding that we as a band are trying to establish where we see our music going so we can solidify a direction, and then we are going to potentially open ourselves up to working with a producer, if that is something we deem appropriate in the scope of the musical project that we agree to undertake. But of course there is always the possibility that we decided to continue on our own for the sake of not slowing things down or being forced away from any sense of imagination. We'll continue to keep you updated be it video experiences, shows, new music, or the continuation of these inter-web stationary installments. I also wanted to take a paragraph to thank everyone that has been so upfront in support the last few weeks. It seems that as our future becomes more concrete that people really step it up in terms of support be it someone trying to help us out with shows, management, production, ext. ext. or be it simply kind words. None of these things go belittled or unnoticed. We continue to stay true to ourselves and it means the world to know that there are people whom I look up to standing behind us. I'd like to personally thank Thomas Rehbein for reaching out to us, and for his especially kind words. Greg Burmeister, thanks for the work that you put in, someday we hope to be able to compensate you, but for now, hopefully a sincere thanks will suffice. Millie Ginder, you give me hope as far as the future of scene support is concerned. I hope to continue to see you all smiles at every local show I attend. Thanks. Like I said, no support or effort goes unnoticed, so Thanks to everyone else, you know who you are. Love, Adam, That Guy, and Those Dudes.
