An 8 hour introduction, a .."taste of Thai..". In this class you will receive a routine for a (simplified) Traditional Thai massage session. While taught as a floor session, on a mat, there are many techniques that will flavor your table work! This class is the prerequisite for the Thai 1 class I also offer. Both classes are taught at IPSB.
Course is 8 hrs - $120. More info at www.ipsb.com or www.humantouchmassage.com

To register: You need to download a registration card from www.ipsb.com, and mail that with a $50 deposit and then pay the balance that day - or go into IPSB during business hours to register. And of course you can pay the full amount when you register, if you prefer.

Book fee:
The $10 for the book is payable to 'human touch massage' that day, cash/check ok.

What to bring:
Bring pillows, and some sort of floor mat to work on. There are lots of options on mats. Think of being comfortable laying on the on the floor, face up and face down, for an hour or more... And bring two/three pillows (any kind) for additional support.

Yoga mat is OK, but usually more comfort/support needed.
A sleeping bag or thick quilt/comforter/blankets could work.
For a firmer mat, a gym mat ($30-$100 at Big 5 or other sport stores). Combining a firm mat, and a comforter works nicely.
A variety of camping mats can be used.
(Inflatable mattresses are not so great.)
Costco (often) has a tri-fold multipurpose floor cushion thing that works.
Three sofa cushions...?
Memory foam bed cover?

Again, think of being comfortable on the floor. All we provide at IPSB is Yoga mat and bolsters.

Commercially there are a variety of .."Thai.." mats available. If you are interested in spending bigger bucks than a gym mat, let me know, I can point in a few directions. But think of that after taking the Intro class!

What to wear:
Easy to move in clothing! Yoga pants, sweats, Thai style pants, baggies. This is a clothes on technique that involves lots of movement.

See you in a couple weeks!
