I love it!!! The lyrics remind me of myself and my husband - coming up on 20 years this year! Truer words have never been written - isn't it funny how they apply to us as well as his marriage?!? That is because John has always been able to touch those universal truths that we can all relate too. Thanks for saying them so well, John!

Can't wait to get the CD!!! May 27th is just around the corner! John will always will be one of my favorite singer-song writers. Hopefully Kansas City will end up on the tour schedule for this album!

Saw John and the Ageless Beauties on the NYC riverboat cruise (early concert) a couple of days ago, and noticed he'd cancelled his concert today. I think it has to be a difficult thing getting revved up to give concerts when you are grieving the death of a close family member (his mother-in-law). It was the first time I saw him live, and I had expected more based on the reviews being posted on his site on the current tour, but not under the circumstances. I will see him and Lyle Lovett in Boston in October. I fully expect that concert to be a considerably better one. I was lucky enough to get a seat fairly close to the stage.
