Hello There

Nick, Helen and I are off to The Ivors today to find out if The Last Of The Melting Snow won the Best Song award.

I have a suit but no tie.

Things are phenomenally busy around here, we're finishing up the 3rd Leisure Society single and B-Sides, plus we've recorded our version of Cars after a lot of people expressed an interest.  We'll give that away at some point.

I recorded the final session for 'The Good Ship' album last week, with Dan Michaelson of Absentee.  Lovely man.

I just have one solid day of mixing left on that and the thing will FINALLY be out of the door.

Bas was here yesterday working with me on the next Christian Silva record.  We're trying to get a plan together whereby he, Nick and I head out to Brooklyn for a few weeks to work with Shannon Fields and his insanely talented friends.

In the meantime, here is a new version of one of the song I've been tinkering with.

No idea what you'll make of it, but this is the music thats in my head right now, so there you have it.

Much Love,

Christian

Will be checking t'interweb every few minutes to see if you guys have won. Got everything double crossed for you!!

And great news that you've recorded Cars - that's so excellent. It's not a song I especially liked before but you've totally transformed it into something incredibly special.

Looking forward to congratulating you at the Hanbury on Sunday! x
