(Translation)
With "Space Death' Mark Ingram and Vanessa Tosti have produced one of the most interesting albums of the year - a release that shows how to still be original and agressive within a fragile music market. Impossible to define them: to try to give them a "coordinate" would mean to fall into the cauldron of superficiality. For sure in this third album you will find elements of electroclash, folk, punk, art-rock and simply dark and the rest is up to you to "visualize' (or not) as the songs run through. "Dark Blue" and "The Weight", compared to the two previous albums, demonstrate a clear progress while an underlying melancholy accompanies the slow appearance of a production that toys with lo-fi. Perhaps "Hard Winter" is the only fragment in which Crossover concedes to a small commercial leap considering the similarity to the last The Kills album.http://www.ritual-magazine.com/site/modules/AMS/article.php?storyid=39
