E Platypus Union? Any who, out of many...many, we're sure you'll find one of your favorites here in town this week. Two of ours are Sam Baker and Jason Eady and they'll both be in the same place Wednesday night.
You can catch us performing again on Saturday, November 3rd at that most marvelous venue, Norm's River Roadhouse out near the county line. We'll commence at 9 PM with Americana artist (and former Nashvillian) Tom Roznowski doing a couple of tunes, then we'll bring on Country star Kenan Boyle to show you that all the good ones ain't dead, and finally Yours Who? - ly and that crack ensemble, Po Daddy, will assume the stage, we assume. Come hear us and give us money.
Next week, we're off (we're off a little every week) for the sugary sands of the AL/FL Gulf Coast for the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival -- 10 days of songwriters doing what they do, and you know what that means, don't you, cousins? We knew that you did.
Just got back from traveling to southern Indiana with the most high and undeniable King of Money, Mark Robinson -- did a couple shows with Bloomington's own, The Kookamongas, a badass outfit if there ever was one. We had all the lovely ladies doing the hip shake and the men were throwing babies. Thanks to everyone up there, especially the divine Rex Miller, for making us feel welcome.
