Hey. I
write songs with all kindsa folks. You know that if you've been around here.
I
really have been lucky, in that, I've had a slew of amazing experiences and
maybe only 2 not so amazing ones.
But
here's the deal: I toured all over the nineties and the western hemisphere and
played with a ton of bands, singers, artists, etc.
At some
point you see so many bands you just start to get blurry.
One
band stood out and still stands out from that blur: Our Lady Peace. I was a
fan. We played with them a couple times and I always dug it. I always tried to
find a little corner of the room and just watch.
Some of
their songs still get me (Clumsy, 4 A.M., Is Anybody Home?, Innocent, oh shit
almost all of 'em in a certain bpm).
So, I
am happy to say that I got to write with Raine (singer for OLP) a few months
ago. Great dude and it was very cool to sit and write a tune together. The song we wrote right here in Tulsa made the album and is actually the
first single, All You Did Was Save My Life…the album’s just been released.
Go check
it out. The whole album’s really killer.
Be good.
