Could The Internet Be Your Key To Financial Freedom?

What if becoming financially was as simple as painting by numbers? What if there was a better and easier way for you to become financially free? America was founded on the dream of freedom.

What does it mean to be free? Well dictionary definition of the word freedom is: the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint; exemption from external control, interference, regulation.

If I were to give the word freedom a one word definition, that definition would be "choice". To me the word freedom means having a choice. I believe that most Americans want to have a choice. They want to have a choice about where to live. They want a choice about what kind of car to drive. They want a choice about where and how to educate their children.

The internet has created more millionaires and billionaires than any business vehicle in history. Michael Dell, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison and Steve Jobs have either made or multiplied a fortune on the internet.

According to the October 2007 issue of Forbes 400 Richest people in the world, over 1 million people consider eBay to be either their primary or secondary source of income.

So here are some things that you can do to use the internet to unlock the door to your financial freedom.

1. Find a group of people with a question, a problem or an area of dissatisfaction. Maybe they want to learn how to do something. Maybe they want to find something. They may even want to improve something (like the environment for instance).

2. Learn how to fix their problem, answer their question or satisfy their area of dissatisfaction. You can do this by reading books on the subject or taking a course on it or even interviewing a group of experts. When you do this you can now provide a valuable resource to help people that are looking for solutions.

3. Create a resource, in the form of a website that people can subscribe to, or a book that they can read or some audios they can listen to for the purpose of improving there situation.

4. Promote your resource on the internet. There are many ways to do this. You can use pay per click ads on search engines. You can get your website ranked on search engines through search engine optimization. You can use YouTube, MySpace, FaceBook or a host of other social networking sites.

5. Find affiliates and get them to promote your product for a part of the profits (usually 30% to 70%) depending on whether it is a digital product or not.

6. Make sure you capture there name and email address. The best way to do this is to give them something free that has a high value but perhaps doesn't cost you much.

7. Maintain contact with your list. Once you have a bunch of names and email addresses of people who want your solution, then you can maintain contact through email and teleseminars and add more value.

If you will follow these steps, you will find out that it won't be long that you will be able to make a full-time income on a part time basis on the Internet.

I believe Bill Gates was on to something a few years ago when he said: "In the coming years there will be two kinds of businesses: Those businesses on the internet and those not in business.
