Ten Myspace Bands That You May Not Be So Familiar With:

Romeo's Last Days:
Brian Long is your singer, lyricist, and music man in this one man side project. He originally started the music for Romeo's Last Days thanks to a certain girl who break his heart. I guess we all have her to thank for his meaningful lyrics that can be felt by all who listen to his songs. If you haven't listened to him yet, you have got to check this boy out. He'll be you're favorite side-project with a psych major. Yeah, he's smart.

The City's Finest:
Coming at you with a sound rarely heard today in the rock scene comes The City's Finest. These five boys based in the San Diego music scene mix a'capella with rock. From their interesting lyrics to their instumentation, they will capture your senses and you won't be able to stop listening. With "It's A Physical Addiction" already out and "A Different Kind of Love" on the way, these boys will be a force to be reckoned with. Curious? Check out their myspace and stream their music. You won't be disappointed!

Ronnie Day:
Ronnie Day had been a musician with a record label till they dropped him. I'm still not entirely sure why. If you have ever listened to his music, you can tell that he's coming from a real place. He's not just bullshitting his songs and that's something that helps create a sense of closeness with him, though you may never have met him.
*note: the banner is to his unofficial fan site, not to his page.. he doesn't have any directly for his page =/ but he does have a myspace =)

Against The Wall:
Daniel, Vince, Rojas, and Jon make up this band that rocks out up in the New York area of the States. With their rock and metal influences, these guys know how to make songs that are going to grab a hold of you and not let you go. With their first video "Walk Away" already getting a lot of myspace and youtube views, as soon as their CD hits the stands, these boys are going to take it all to another level. Most definately.

Thirteen Yards To Victory:
This Massachusettes threesome probably isn't something you'd expect to be as eye-catching as they are. With one CD out and a merch store stocked full of Thirteen Yards to Victory gear and an EP on the way? Vinny, Ryan, and Tommy are working hard to make sure that they can keep the enthralled fans that they have now while bringing in more of you for your own listening pleasure. With songs such as "Save the One Liners", "Fall of Propsero", and "Signals Over Seas" they are ready to show you how long they're going to be sticking around.

Living My Last Day:
Sean O'Shea is the voice and guitar behind the acoustic music of Living My Last Day. He's just your average 19 year old who loves music. Lucky for us, this boy has gone off and put his stuff online for us to hear or on a CD for us to keep for our own. Currently booking for a tour this summer, Sean's going to be leaving New York to introduce his music to the rest of the world. Want him to come to your area? Go leave him a comment in his blog. He'll make sure that he does his best. Until then though, go listen to his music and listen to the message of Living My Last Day.

The Prospect:
Here's a Florida quartet that has just released their first EP, America. With a Spring tour coming up, the Prospect is ready to make themselves your new favorite band. Playing together for a couple years now, they've proven that they can make it in their local scene and are ready to prove to the rest of the world that they are ready to take on the world. You should be there witness it too. I know it'll be pretty spectacular.

The Bride Wore Black:
So, who doesn't love to listen to emotronice/happy hardcre music? I know I personally love it. And if you love it too, the band that you must check out just happens to be The Bride Wore Black. They're coming straight at you from Queens. You know you're excited, right? After already rocking the Darth Vatour, these guys are ready to tear down your city next with their upbeat, catchy tunes that'll catch you humming them at 3:37 in the morning... in your sleep!

Magnolia Black:
In Falling Matter was Magnolia's Black first CD to be released and let me tell you, from what I've heard of it, it's pretty spiffy. That's no lie. Rob, Jason, Robert, Ian, and Ray have worked hard to release something that I know that they've got be extremely proud of. These five guys are getting a great following on MySpace as well in their local scene. All they're missing is your support. You know what that means right? You have to check them out. Trust me. You won't be disappointed.

Nice Guys Finish First:
With a sound all his own, Russell allows you to dive deep into the electronic/happy hardcre genres. Whether it's him playing his music by himself or with his live band, Nice Guys Finish First is a young (and I mean this by their age) band that's slowly capturing more and more listeners to stop and pay them som attention. Don't believe me? Get hooked yourself then by check out the music. Just don't say I didn't warn you!
