Hail to all Superman and Smallville fans ! As you may know, Smallville is rumored to end at season 10, which means there are only 8 more seasons to come. The producers have given us one of the greatest gift that such a series can offer, which was/is also one of the reasons that I have started to respect the series more and more. This “gift” as I call it is comprised of the guest appearances of previous Superman stars, which started with the “immortal” appearance of the original Superman Christopher Reeve in seasons 2 and 3 of Smallville, followed by Margot Kidder (Lois Lane from the original franchise), as well as Helen Slater (Supergirl) and Dean Cain (Superman from TV’s Lois & Clark). The only actress in the Superman movies and long running series that has not yet appeared in Smallville is Teri Hatcher from TV’s Lois & Clark series, now starring in the hit TV Series Desperate Housewives. Teri is the only actress that must appear in Smallville to complete the circle of the classic Superman cast that left their mark in the history of Superman in the last 30 years. The stars of Superman Returns, Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth were excluded from my idea of the “circle” since they played in a Superman movie that appeared when Smallville was already running (2006) and did not show such great performances. Once again, the actors that I have mentioned have made history for their portrayals of the characters. Teri Hatcher was absolutely the BEST Lois Lane in Superman history, at least in my opinion.

So, in the end, to complete the circle of history we need TERI HATCHER for an appearance. If you would like to see her guest appear in Smallville please sign this petition and help us complete the circle of actors that made Superman an icon of motion pictures and television.
