You're ole pal, JK...
Since we finished the record in August, I've been going through a roller coaster of feelings and emotions all at once. Yes, we finally finished! But what now? Yes, I love writing songs! But what is my muse? Yes, I love traveling! But where am I going next? It's not enough to know that I wrote a great song 4 months ago, I want write one TODAY! But if I've learned anything about myself and about the life of an artist, it's that you can't force anything. The highs and lows are what make life interesting anyways.
In record news, there have been some really great things happening!!! My managers, Guy Eckstine and Scott Barkham, and myself have been taking some important meetings and making lots of noise in LA, New York and Nashville (my hometown). More on that coming soon!
In the next 2 months, make sure to shift your gaze to iTunes, where you will be able to purchase individual singles from the new record! This week, we begin shooting music videos to accompany the single tracks that will shortly be up on iTunes. The videos will also be available to watch on YouTube.
