This weekend 7th-8th March was a Dolls road trip up to Scotland.

There was a weekend of skating action planned, Saturday was spent with Auld Reekie Roller Girls in Edinburgh (Cain, you are a slave driver! ;-) ) then on Sunday it was over to Glasgow with teams from Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

There was the usual mixture of skating, sweating, aching muscles and stinky pads but we loved it!!! Lots of mixed scrimmaging, tips on blocking and there was even a scary game which involved lying down on the track and having rollergirls skating past you at high speed whilst you screwed your eyes up and prayed that no one would fall on you!

We always love going up north to visit our derby sisters in Edinburgh and Glasgow, it's an amazing bonding experience and they really are the loveliest bunch of women (sssh don't tell anyone!). We always come back to Leeds with renewed vigour and lots of helpful hints.

So to you Scottish roller queens, we salute you!
