i can't help but be excited about tomorrow night. the new band is just... awesome. bonnie is ..s, and a new rhythm section, made up of angeline saris on bass and andy korn on drums, is killer. we had three practices this week, including this morning, and i can tell you, it's the best the songs have sounded.

we're even going to bring back some old ones that have rarely (if ever) been played live, including 'let it go' and 'little bit here'. little bit here was a real question mark for me since the arrangement we did for the record hadn't been done live before. after working on it the past few days, i am no longer worried at all :)

on a side note, i watched 'the last starfighter' last night. it's this movie from the 80s that i think i absolutely loved as a kid; come on, it intertwined videogames and star wars esque sci fi. too bad i'm not seven anymore: it was soooo bad i had to stop watching it. horrible, horrible, horrible.
