The duo started as the Molecules and is influenced by other songwriting teams/ rock bands: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, X, Suicide, The Raveonettes, The Real Kids, The Warlocks. Karen is the lead voice and plays percussion. Franky plays guitar and sings backup and some lead vocals.
