The Freeways
The Freeways was formed by songwriting team Karen Zanes and Franky Butkus in May 2005 in Boston, MA. The duo started as the Molecules and is influenced by other songwriting teams/ rock bands: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, X, Suicide, The Raveonettes, The Real Kids, The Warlocks. Karen is the lead voice and plays percussion. Franky plays guitar and sings backup and some lead vocals. In September they were joined by Nathan Wood on drums merging as the Freeways.

Not Art Collaborative
THe "Not Art Collaborative" is not to be confused with "Not Art" the conceptual art movement. The parallels between the two are mainly due to sophistry. For more information on "Not Art," the movement, please consult your own conceptual tool. THe collaborative consists of: Mike-guitars/rationalization, Dilip-guitars/logic, Steve-piano and electronics/coercion, Ryan-piano/manipulation, and Xian-Bass/diplomacy and inspiration. More super fun music coming soon with drums!
