The Definition Of Insanity:

I stepped into the shower to wash away my sin.

It didnʼt really help, cause I stepped out into my skin.

I looked into the mirror, hoping to see a saint.

But the truth appeared; low and behold it appears that I ainʼt.

I washed my hands again, cause God donʼt like that smell.

Somewhere down that drain leads us straight to Hell.

I tried to seek her love to nurse me back to life.

She turned her back on me cause Iʼm unfit to have a wife.

So I gave up on religion now Iʼm in this situation.

I drank some of the water, but it didnʼt numb the pain.

So I drank ALL of the whiskey to get out of my brain.

I woke up feeling sorry with a hangover again.

So I stepped back in the shower to wash away my sin.

I repeat the cycle. The outcome stays the same.

I think thatʼs what they call the definition of insane.

The 2 of me, we battle good and bad, right and wrong,

An Angel on my left, but my right is far too strong.

Far too long Iʼve fought the creature from within,

If I could escape myself I bet I could even be my friend.
