A few night ago I woke up with MAJOR insomnia, which is always a drag. BUT, luckily I had just bought a fantastic new book, Crocheting for Dummies. I had looked a few different books and online instructions, but couldn't quite figure them out. Anyway, this book is great! I successfully made a practice swatch, which I have a feeling will end up as a blanket for one of Chandramukhi's dollys. (She won't mind that it's a little crooked.)
This is something I've wanted to learn to do for ages. I still need loads of practice, but I feel happy that at least I've made a start!
