Still a lot o' mixing and tampering to go, but the recordings are now there. 4 songs, plus a lil' extra. We may try to do another 4 or 5 before Thanksgiving, which will leave us with a whole heap of mixing. But things are looking good. The fetus is human-shaped, it has all it's limbs.
Update, 12/23/07. Actually the baby has 3 sets of genitals, and no head. I re-learned why I was never a sound engineer. It's because I suck at sound. Making it, yes. Recording it? Not so much. That being said, it's a mighty good showing on the part of the band; the final product will sound solid, if not professional. At least it sounds like we normally do. I'll begin begging your forgiveness now about the vocals before you hear 'em. They sound like I'm stepping on a cat during recording. Afterwards I looked down at my feet, and realized that I was stepping on our cat. Sorry, Kitty.
Anyways, we continue to plug away at the mixing, we're maybe halfway done now. (Not because we're dim or anything--we're just busy.) So, to sum up, four songs--on the way. Titles are Rockstar, Trainwreck, Hospital For My Dreams, and Superpower, not that you know or care what the song titles are anyway ('the Long One', the 'Loud One', the 'Fucked Up Sounding One'...). Cheers. Merry Christmas, Death To All, and Hello Fuck Off--those last two are alternate holidays we prefer over Xmas.
