Here we are on April 11, 2009. Two years ago, we started handing free DVDs to people in Ottawa. We're still doing it and thankfully the winter actions appear to be over for a bit. Summer is so much nicer



Many thanks to the man who donated these signs. We use them every month and they've been extremely effective.



The traffic at this spot is pretty constant. Every time the lights change, a mob of people pass by. We brought 300 DVDs for them



This is an interesting shot. This is a picture of someone filming someone taking a picture of two people holding a sign. This moment has been captured three times.



A year or so ago we saw this guy with the balloon animals. I asked him if he could make a hat that said 9/11. Sure enough, he could!



So ya, I bought a silly hat from a local busker but at least I support the local community Smile If you notice in my hand I am holding a DVD in a colored sleeve. One of our activists put together a DVD with french subtitles so we brought about 30 copies. Sure enough, we got rid of these bilingual discs. I will be sure to burn 50 next month.



This is a great group photo. Many thanks to everyone who attended. We'll be at the same spot next month and we'll be giving away another 300 DVDs.
