"Three Bullets" was written by Chrissy Dzioba (left) apart from Jess Hrobar, the other half of Blonde on Blonde. Told from the eyes of a domestic abuser, "Three Bullets" is the story of a firefighter unhappy with his family life.

"In the song, he comes home from a bar with a gun with three bullets to kill his wife and two children," Dzioba said. "In the third verse, the cops come and knock down the door. They catch him in time, and then he goes to jail."

Dzioba has a personal connection with the story. "It's the song I'm really most proud of because it's not your typical chick rock song of 'I was in love and my heart was broken.' I try not to write too much about (love), even though I do because I get distracted!" she said, laughing.

Dzioba tries to fight domestic abuse via music. She's organizing an August event at Linnemann's called "Not Afraid," titled after her song about an emotionally abusive relationship. The duo also played at Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, "where guys collect pledges and walk in high heels." The proceeds go to the Sojourner Truth House, a domestic violence shelter.
