Our bestest bud Jeff Martin will be playing some shows acoustically and it would please us very much if you supported him when/if he plays in your city.

Hi, hello; How are you?

So as it turns out, I still like music… I might even love it.
Believe it or not, I still like the songs that I sang when I was in a band called this day and age.

So here is the plan:

I (jeff martin) am planning on playing 8 or 10 or 12 solo/acoustic shows in the fall (as thisdayandage).. this day and age is not reuniting; this is simply for fun, for those of you who love(d) our band, who started enjoying our music  after we parted ways, and who thought our sets were not a balanced mix of “always leave the ground” / “bell and hammer” songs.. for these shows, I want YOU to help create the set each night.. I will do my best to play any song from either of our albums…. this will be great and exciting and adventurous, don’t you think?

You could even begin emailing me ( HYPERLINK "mailto:jeffmartin@111records.com" jeffmartin@111records.com) your ideas of a “perfect” TDAA set list as well as what cities I should come to.. We could be friends (maybe we already are).. the goal is for you to be singing just as much as I am at these shows. (oh and also let me know what cover song(s) I should do).

I hope this letter finds you well, and I sincerely hope you will attend these special shows. maybe you and your friends could plan a road trip, because I’m not sure that there will be anything like this to follow.

It would be quite helpful if you could spread the word. dust off your thisdayandage albums and let’s make these shows memorable… the idea of this is literally for you (and completely pointless without you).. I will see you soon.

PS: the other guys (who were in thisdayandage) are still alive and well and my best friends.. they are (present tense) in an incredible band called the reign of kindo. Please support them.
