I have participated in the miracle of creating new life and this March brought into the world a beautiful being we call Django.

Yes, I have been away from the music for a while. Yes, I will come back.
I'll let you know as things develop, and plan to have some new recordings in the next few months.

What a cute kid! Congrats to you and Simon.

Erin and I had our first on May 22. He's a little guy but scrappy and, I dare say, ruggedly handsome.

And yes, we haven't slept for more than four hours at a time ever since.

I've discovered I can function on two hours of sleep - but not very well. Kinda like being a functioning drunk.

My proposed photo captions for the above...

I didn't know you two moved to Washington. I bet it is so much more beautiful than dry LA where we still scratch daily. Congrats on being a mama! Jared and I have gotten married and we too are expecting a little one in November! Life is amazing, isn't it? I find myself in a musical and recording hiatus as well as things are shifting and panning out, but I join you in the "Yes, I will come back" sentiment.
