I don't know what we did to deserve such a streak of good fortune but this has been by far the best tour EVER....well maybe not ever but for us it's been sweeet! Let's start with the weather, the road conditions have been outstanding, it's like the sunshine just follows us wherever we go. We are traveling at the very cusp of spring but i really thought we might encounter some shitty weather along the way and thus far, perfect! I don't want to jinx us so i'll end by saying we are very grateful for the comfortable driving conditions.
We started in Kamloops and performed to a very warm crowd filled with friends and fans alike. It was a great way to kick things off, we did however experience the most technical difficulties of the tour during that performance. Corey had a fuse go on his amp and i broke a selection of strings. We were glad to get that out of the way on the first show. We shared the stage that night with a band from St. Catherines ONT by the name of FLATLINED and it has been a long time since we've met a band that we connect with so well musically and on a personal level, great guys, great music!
We stayed one more night in Kamloops and then ventured on to Penticton where we were fortunate enough to share the stage once again with Flatlined, not the greatest show due to lack of people but a butt load of fun just hanging with those guys.. it was like a band on band bro-mance...lol!
The real treat was we were invited to stay at Corey's Aunt and Uncle brand spanking new home on Okanogan lake... i should juts call it the mansion. This house was off the mutha freakin chain!! We each had our own suite with private bath and view of the lake. I posted some pictures of the house on my face book page so if you like check it out... amazing!!
......what did we do to deserve this!!
After two days of R&R in Kelowna we carried on to Grande Prairie Alberta.....
It's late so i'll continue this tomorrow or the next day. We are going to go and explore downtown Calgary tomorrow..
take care all!
