Today has been amazing. It was 80 degrees in Sacramento and it was nice to not have to wear jeans and a sweater of some sort. I Just got the studio and I am mixing the tracks we have been working on. Everything is sounding really good, and i am very happy with the songs we are writing. Davis is going to be here any minute to run through a new song called "Car" before we record the acoustic version of it. The song is a slight spin off of our song Jenni (from all together now) and im very happy with the direction its heading.

I feel like these new songs are a good character of our band. "These Are For You" was written mostly by me (kyle) on an acoustic guitar, and then the rest of the guys wrote their parts and changed things around to make it what it is today. Thankfully... that is not the way we are doing it this time. Now we are sitting together for hours at a time and slowly working through songs and getting them done one by one.

I realize that a video update is infinitely better than a blog, and i am trying to get all the video together!!! so if you have sent a message saying, "when are we going to get to see you guys in the studio?!?!" the answer is... soon! haha. i have made it my goal to put what we have together very soon. And most importantly... wait! davis is here. I have to go now, there is work to be done. until next time...
