Born Bad: Self-titled 7? EP I thought that Minneapolis' Fashionable Idiots label was done releasing hardcore until I received this little platter in the mail. While, on the surface, Born Bad are a fairly typical hardcore band, there's a lot on this EP that separates them from the pack. All of the songs are really different from one another, which isn't something you can say about most bands these days. The track I've posted above sounds like the Formaldehyde Junkies trying to be more hardcore, which might be an apt description for the entire EP, but rest assured Born Bad are no one-trick pony. This may be my favorite release on Fashionable Idiots yet.
