A few new-ish things for the new-ish spring season...

Video-related: Chad Vader season 2 is in full swing, and the first three episodes are posted at www.youtube.com/blamesocietyfilms

Aaron and Matt were on the G4 channel the other night, and were crowned the "Kings of Dot Comedy."  G4 aired this cool clip: http://g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/kingsofdotcomedy/66418/Blame-Society-Dot-Comedy-Kings.html

I show up in there momentarily, in the form of a quick still from a video.  So I guess that was my national television debut, in the tiniest way. 

 

We're also making a video this weekend or next, that will tentatively be a trailer for a potential new series called "Hal Thompson: Complete Idiot."  It will feature Hal, violence, and many pairs of my crazy shoes and will be random and strange like Hal...

 

Music-related:  Jeremy and Mike (who I made Welcome To Christmastown with, along with JT) were on David Letterman and the Tonight Show recently.  They're playing with Andrew Bird - check out their awesomeness via their Letterman performances here:

 


 

I'm super excited to see them soon in Chicago next week - Andrew Bird's live shows are always amazingly impressive and entertaining. 

 

Let's see... what else?  Just opened a Twitter account - not sure about how frequently to update it. I don't want it to become one of those Facebook-like updates - "Blank is getting ready for bed."  "Blank has a cold."  No.  People don't want to really know that stuff, do they?  Or do they?  I don't know what kind of updates people like to get on Twitter, so we'll see what happens.   But here I am, at least very minimally:

Always glad to see a reminder (from the G4 thing) of "Super Shooter".That,The "Chad",and the very name of "Blame Society Productions" drew me in (not forgetting "McCourt"!)."Hal Thompson" sounds cool...as usual. Mr.Bird is very cool. Old friend on Facebook used to parody the updates..."Bill is thinking of making guacomole", "Bill might shave his beard"...(trust me,he was kidding).It IS hard to parody idiocy,sometimes. Michael Feldman on NPR's "Whattaya Know" did funny bit recently about Twitter while interviewing author of "Stealing MySpace" book,but unlike him,you got tunes to sell! I still say you oughta do his show (from Madison,after all)...sorry,get carried away,sometimes.
Spring IS the best!!!

That's right! You know, they (Michael Feldman and Whad'Ya Know) actually asked the guys to be on a while back, but the timing didn't work - they were out of town, I think. But we should check and see if Mr Feldman would still be interested... Maybe someday you'll be listening, Terry, and it will be a surprise! And then you can blog "Terry is listening to the Blame Society guys on NPR.
