Happy Summer!
My friend Benson and I did a national radio commercial/public service announcement for the Collabortive Summer Library Program a few months ago.  It's now airing nationally on radio and sounds like this:

More information is available here:

Also, the newest Chad Vader video was posted last week:

This one features my favorite childhood doll "Cookie."  Cookie's not actually wearing bondage gear, contrary to popular belief.  Cookie had a persona growing up, cultivated originally by my aunt, I think.  She gave Cookie a deep voice, much to my 3 year old self's amusement, and we sort of developed her into a tomboy who wanted to be a pilot when she grew up.  I think the pilot occupation was my mom's idea.  See how the whole family was involved in Cookie's evolution?  My dad got me a little plastic airplane for her, and made the "pilot goggles" she wears.  And here's a secret - this is a Cookie stunt double.   I worried about Cookie getting lost or ruined during shooting, so I found a double on Ebay a few months ago.  They're basically the same, but this second Cookie has green eyes.  In my MySpace photos, you can find a photo of the original Cookie emerging from an aqua garbage can.  Fascinating, I'm sure!
In any case, a year or so ago, I mentioned to the guys that Cookie might make a good sidekick for the Hal Thompson character.  A year later - fruition.  Yay!

Making some music for a new Blame Society video tonight - will post when it goes up.

It's summer - live it up, people!

Let's make that "collaborative" above - I hate typos. And the "edit" function on the MySpace blogs doesn't work so well.
I should add that Cookie also had a collection of "chick," as in bird, related things when I was growing up.  She had a little stuffed Easter chick and an "egg yolk" lip gloss pot from Avon.  Cookie was treated well back in the day...

Living it up currently by sitting inside and keeping the window shut because my neighbors have apparently decided to live in the parking lot.

Aw... thank you, Terry!  The video just went up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4ohlw3J2r4 - but it makes more sense if you've seen the original "Where The Hell Is Matt," which is linked in the sidebar of our video.
I'm not sure if the one-eyed me has anything on the green-eyed or blue-eyed Cookie, but you're awesome to say so!
Who knew Bruce Dern wrote?  :)  What else is new with lilmelvin?!?
