Hello friends,
I've been away a while. I guess since I went away on a Mindfulness Meditation Retreat in September last year my focus has just been in a very different place offline, so I've hardly been around online! A kind of hibernation maybe? I've just returned from another Meditation Retreat - this time exploring those skillful mindstates known in the Buddhist world as the Divine Abidings: Loving Kindness, Compassion, Joy and Equanimity. I hope to blog about this more soon and maybe sharing some more video blogs of my thoughts and experiences. I may even attempt singing with my ukulele again! I'm not sure how often I will be online. I have been learning so much offline - such as I am now a qualified Reiki Practitioner and working towards my Master Reiki level. I have also explored Mediumship, spiritual healing, energy work and have concentrated on my own spiritual development and practice, as well as my own healing journey. I seem to be preparing for something - haven't quite worked out what, but I'm going with this new direction as it feels right. I want to be of service to humanity in some way so I'm needing to develop these new skills to make it happen in what ever way it's meant to be. The internet just doesn't seem to be so much of a priority in my life at the moment, so you'll have to just forgive me if I'm just not around as much as I used to be. I even considered deleting my MySpace for a while, but I kind of have quite a soft spot for you all ;) Plus, with no MySpace I would not get such awesome love-spam:
