This is the issue Brandon's mom carries around everywhere to show to relatives!

From the Winter 2008 edition of Jewel.

Brandon returns to modeling, offers ice cream to unsuspecting soda drinker.  From the February 2008 issue of Rare.

This next one was just sent in to us by a big fan out of Longview, Texas.  We didn't even know they had written this one! (She must be a big fan of Brandon's, too, because she underlined his name!)

From Lifetimes Magazine (The Official Blue Cross/Blue Shield Member Newsletter)

HOLY CRAP!  Did anyone else notice that this article was written by the Texas author Carolyn Banks?

And, finally, a few of our favorite online reviews:

Here's Erin preparing our super-secret combination of pure, cured bacon and rich chocolate!
From Austin, Texas Daily Photo:

There's no other way to say it. Chocolate bacon. While my older great nephews shopped for candy using a bucket to choose from hundreds of old-fashioned confections this lady coated bacon with chocolate at the fine confection counter. Big Top Candy Shop also sells traditional shop fountain drinks. I thought it would be a disaster for the nephews, but my niece unwrapped a lollipop for the little one and gave the clerk the wrapper and he sat by me happily while the older boys where given free rein to pick some confections with a little help from mom in deciding the limits of decency. To balance we stopped by Farm to Market Grocery and got organic milk for them. I didn't taste the chocolate bacon, but I think it goes on the list of things I have to try before I die. We've shown Big Top's candies before but we thought they deserved another feature for chocolate bacon!

I see on the WEB that the Big Top folks also own Monkey See, Monkey Do featured here once before. Amusing.

Finn Meets Big Top Candy Shop.  A Love Story.

Finn Meets Big Top Candy Shop.  A Love Story
(You REALLY ought to go to this link and play the short audio clip of Finn describing his prize.  He says:  "Hi!  My name is Finn, and I'm at the candy store, and this place is SO COOL.  Everything's candy, and I got a Wii remote, and its a fake Wii remote, and inside there's CAAAAANDY.  *pause*  And this is HEAVEN!" Our best review yet!)

Welcome to Austin: Ryan's Top 5 (fromjalopyjournal.com)

New this year on South Congress is Big Top Candy Shop - a circus themed candy shop - FILLED with every kind of candy you can dream up - things you didn't know they even made anymore, plus a real live soda and ice cream fountain. Go check it out!

There's TONS more press out there, folks!  Always nice to see what other think about this monstrousity we've created!  If you see any articles out there that we might not have copies of, please don't hesitate to let us know!

ahem ahem, excuse me, but you seem to have forgotten an article... one that just so happens to have the BEST pictures:

http://media. www. dailytexanonline. com/media/storage/paper410/news/2008/02/13/LifeArts/Austin. Confectionary. Offers. Classic. Charm-3206432. shtml

i've been in the shop a few times in the past few months to show some of my friends, but every time i go, you are never there, brandon! it has been a slight disappointment, to say the least. perhaps i'll pop in again soon and hopefully catch you.

shelley neuman,
