Todd and Jeff Brabec, authors of Music Money and Success: The Insiders Guide to Making Money in The Music Business, discuss the many licensing and revenue opportunities available to songwriters in the digital and traditional worlds of music. They'll cover the structure of deals, the main points of negotiation and the actual dollars paid for music used in videogames, motion pictures and television episodes, downloads and streaming, ringtones and ringbacks, advertising commercials and more. ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and foreign-country uses will also be discussed.
Jeff and Todd will answer audience questions and will have signed copies of their book available for $15.
