According to the first track of this release, the zoo is located in Detroit, and 'Souvenir del Zoologico de la Primavera' is your guided tour to the great zoo we apparently all visit in the end.Old and antique recordings are warped and distorted and blended chaotically, like a soundtrack to life in a moment where an atomic bomb had actually gone off. The barrels of noise that punctuate these pieces blast through whatever may have resembled music, and like objects in the path of a blast, sounds melt away and vaporize.It's good to have an audio guide to the zoo. It can be disconcerting seeing every death that ever occurred in slow motion on the way to the cage they prepared for you!
