so im finally getting around to writing about my Disney trip. I knew Brendan was going to propose there, but had no idea how.
As we were getting ready to leave, he gets down on a knee and has a ring box, and asks me if I will promise not to throw up on him . Inside the box was Dramamine! (he ended up using it on the train!!)
Then at Mickeys not so scary halloween party, he got down on a knee again and inside the box was a penny. He asked me if i would give him a penny for his thoughts or something like that.
The next morning, we had a breakfast with the pooh characters. Brendan then pulled out a small stuffed pooh holding a ring box, inside was a ring. Sadly, it didnt fit. I was very mad because i had gotten fit for my ring before we left. After jamming it on my finger, I was luckily able to get it off. I kept bugging brendan to go to a jareds down there to go get it resized. he said we could go after dinner.
the waiter brought us mickey mouse shaped waffles with candles. Pooh came over to congratulate Brendan. (Im sorry Frankie and Pooh!)
So I thought that was it. I wandered around the rest of the day with no ring.
We had dinner that night at the Royal Table, the restaurant in cinderellas castle. (FANCY SCHMANCY!) As I thought our waitress was bringing us our desserts, a plate was placed in front of me covered in rose petals, and with a glass slipper , filled with more rose petals. A ring was placed around the rose petals. The first thing I said was Im confused. Brendan went into a speech in how he knew I was confused, but how this morning was not what I thought it was. It was fake. Of course I said yes (for the fourth time lol). I started crying because the ring was absolutley perfect, i couldnt have picked it better myself. Then they brought us out our desserts, the white chocolater slippers (which were so pretty I felt bad eating!) also 2 glasses of non alcohalic champange for us to toast. We got to keep the slipper and a pair of the glasses. I was crying the whole time, and trying not to ball! It was so amazingly perfect. Of course the royal table helped him out quite a bit, but I dont care. He cared about me enough to go through all that, I wish that moment would have never ended. I cant wait to see what our wedding will be like!!
Im still aiming for May 2010, but wont offically set a date until I find out a few things for sure.
Other then that, i had a wonderful vacation!!!!
