Each day, I have my ups and downs.
This past week, I have been tense, nervous, and sleepless. This is not
all too unfamiliar, working the graveyard shift (emergency services
downtown) each week. But, this week, I was also anxious about my
Birthday.
I guess after celebrating others all year, when it is time to look at the years of my life, I don’t handle it well.
I know that I am valued. I know that I am seen/noticed. I know that others know I’m alive.
Not everyone can say that. Everyone is valuable. No one should go unseen or unnoticed.
I cannot say enough about how I was celebrated. Thank you Josh Beidel, Justin, Justin's mom, Deb, Doug, Mya, Mariia, Tasha,
Inkrementals, Elliot, Tuffy, Brian, Jesse, Tiffany, Chip, Shannon W.,
Shannon V., Chad, Tobiah, Kristen Curry, Grandma and Morris Lowe, My
mother, Grandma Kerr, Colleen and Dad, Brandon Ryan, and more.
I went to bed tonight with Thanksgiving in my heart--an overflowing
measure of knowledge that people have prayed for me, thought of me, and
given of themselves (of their lives) to value my life.
Praise God. And thank you.
