With huge sounds, growling guitars, heavy drums and In Excess style vocal delivery, opening song 'Nowhere Fast' is certainly not relating to the career of this talented band, as this track is so meaty you could make a meal out of it!!
'Understrung', the track that shares it's name with the EP, is more of a slow building affair, with a great riff to propel it forward, before 'Personal Philosophy' seems at times to be lumped in the 'rock ballad' genre, with strong imstrument work pulling it away. The vast talent on show makes this feel like the end of a musical journey, and not a 3 track EP.
Obviously with a lot of raw talent, as long as their style isn't set in stone and they can continue to produce different tracks, with more emphasis on the rock of Nowhere Fast, they'll be big. Quick.
