Being a sacramento kings fan and being from sacramento and moving here right after 9/11 and bush being hated by everyone,especially here,i felt extremely out of place. It rained the first two months i lived here and i moved during spring break 02. as i hated life because of rain,blazers fans and being away from my hometown i started to hate this city.

As i grew up i came into my own,i met new people, i started skating more and the more i lived here, the more i appreciated it. Its not california. It isnt all houses and buildings. The city is literally built into the hills, theres mass transit, theres snow in the mtns and occasionally on the valley floor and when that happens the city shuts down and its fkcin hillarious.cause everyone freaks out cause of the giant hills and ice that forms due to near freezing temperatures.

The city is beautiful and besides the 70 percent of the year rainy day counts, the days that are sunny/dry are the days you treasure. Your not hot everyday and you appreciate your days so you are willing to go outside and do something, and when it does rain you have to excuse to sit at home and get fat,play videogames,skate indoors or make music.

The city is essentially a really big town with skyscrapers. I see the same people everyday,no lie. i see pro skateboarders everyday skating past and we just nod to one another. i ran into brent atchley today at the max and we talked like normal people. People are normal here and are loving. its weird. I used to talk so much shiiit about this city and now i love it.

its an hour from the mtns.an hour from the ocean.and hour from the desert and surrounded by forests.the mass transit is GREAT!everyone rides bikes(r.i.p. my bike) and everyone is just cool here.

idk.i have more to write. and honestly i dont even know why i started writing.

i guess im just gonna miss it for the time being,but ill come back eventually and its gonna be sweet.

haha im not even leavin till march. so i guess until then.i gotta have fun here and cherish my friends and the people i meet.

it just occured that if you want happiness in life.

be a nice person and dont do stupid stuff.
