Just an FYI on my latest novel, Rogelia's House of Magic. This book is for 11 and up. The protagonists are 15. The focus is on friendship and personal empowerment, which is really important as people enter the puberty stage. (No sex or drinking. I'm still a traditionalist and I don't think those things should be in ya books).  The book was chosen by Las Comadres, a national bookclub of women (12,000). I've been to 3 booksignings this week. The women are opening their eyes to realms of magic and potentiality they never saw. Its really cool.
