It's not like anyone over 18 cheated time itself. We waited 18 years too.
Once your 18 you won't wanna get older so live it up. Sneak in.
When Slayer toured in 2001 there was no u18's shows and we had to wait till 2007. 6 years = long wait.
LOG came out in 2006 and had shit sound in Sydney, so they came out again in 2007 and now they're coming out again, 2009.
Doesn't look like you will have to wait any where near 6 years till they come again.
My point is - you are lucky that decent bands are coming here more frequently now so just stop whinging about not being 18 yet. That is nobody's fault except your parents. So go complain to them or wait the 6570 days everyone else did.

....Look, i'm sure it would of sucked waiting six years to see Slayer, but any form of wait doesn't make missing Lamb of God all the more better. In fact it's not just Lamb of God, it's heaps of metal bands that us under 18s would die for. Yet we miss out simply because metal shows are turning into a venue for the piss. And were into the music just as much as you are. I can't recall many people over 18 waiting over two hours to see their fave bands!....
....And we're not saying we don't appreciate all the all ages shows nonetheless. In fact so many of us Under 18s fan appreciate the growing number of all ages shows that we'll put the effort into supporting shows, despite a six hour drive up and back.....
....It's just not the best thing when we have to pay $140 to say Big Day Out, when the only metal band is Mastodon.....
....Or like Soundwave, i pretty much paid $130 to see Lamb of God for a half an hour set. That sucks.....
....It just pisses us off when we don't get the opportunity to make money and a majority of that money goes into buying a ticket to see 5% of bands at a festival.....
....Us under 18's are just as passionate and stoked for the music as you are. Why do we get to miss out?....
....That's why we are pissed off! ....

Meaning it is moving away from a 'venue for the piss' if anything. Did you use a stopwatch and ID check on people waiting in lines, to work out this statement - "I can't recall many people over 18 waiting over two hours to see their fave bands!"??
You didn't HAVE to pay $140 to go to BDO, you CHOSE to do that. Just boycott BDO as it holds a blatant disregard for metal these days.
The same applies with the last Soundwave, you CHOSE to go/pay. Did you really think LOG would play for 1 1/2 hours at a festival? Be realistic.
I understand how it can seem wrong or unfair but it really is a much more even playing field for the U/18's now than it was 10 years ago.
Most of the bands I listen to these days don't even come to Australia, they rarely leave the states because it is not feasible for them to spend big $$ on a tour which isn't guaranteed of any $$ success. At least LOG can afford to come to Aus with their major label perks.
Animosity, The Red Chord and other kickarse minor label bands won't be coming here anytime soon, at least there is some possibility of you seeing a band you enjoy.
Grow a beard and sneak in or wait till your 18. Simple...
