...your parents start sending you newspaper clippings about your musician friends. Ha! Somehow this is very funny to me. It took a long time for my parents to even begin to comprehend that I actually work in music and that I plan to continue working in music but now...NOW they cut out newspaper clippings to send to me and call me when they see "my friend on TV with George Canyon"!!! (my mom is from Pictou County NS and George Canyon is their favoured son...don't ask, it makes me sad too).

Too funny.

And yes, I'm aware it's been a long time since I wrote anything in this thing - I have some catching up to do. At the very least I will write something to summarize some of the happenings of late... soon. I will write it soon.
