Current mood:  curious
Category: Religion and Philosophy

It amaze me how come that after more than 2000 years my christian friends DO NOT realize or do not want to know why the Jews DO NOT accept Jesus as the moshia neither as a greek-god.  Paul even says that Jews are blindfolded and we can not recognize Jesus as Moshia because G_d decided to blind us.   What kind of G_d is this that want us to accept Jesus as moshia and then play tricks and blind us?

Well, here I am presentin at least 101 reasons why Jews do not accept Jesus as a legitimate Jewish moshia without any mystery.

I will go slowly leaving time to our readers to comment and present questions.

Hope that by bringing these topics we can establish a solid friendhsip.  We are not intending to make you a Jew, what we are trying to do is that once for all you, as a christian, realize our position and respect it.  Tolerance and love are ok, if we understand each other.

Shalom Rivka,

Thanks for your message. Your father is right, the Israelis, the Ishmaelites and the Edomites are all children of the same ancestor, Abraham. Also as children we do not have to agree in every thing, what we need to learn is to live together in peace.

Long time ago we were able to live together with the Ishmaelites; its is not until our days that they are so wild and with so much hate toward Israel, against their own scriptures of their Koran. Also is not until these days we can live in peace with the christians. The Church, 500 years ago, was persecuting all of us to convert us by force, then just 65 years ago the Christian Lutheran Church and Catholic Church were supporting the Nazi Germany, Hitler, and were promoters and participants with them on the crimes of the Holocaust.

For that reason we have to be careful in our relation with our cousins, cause they do not love us very much. If you want to know about Judaism there is a great book we recomend titled "To Life" by Harold S. Kushner ISBN 0-446-67002-2 for only $14.99 US$.

My major task is to present the differences between Judaism and Christianity, specially to the Jewish audience so they get the right knowledge of the Torah related to the "evangelists" that try to convert the Jews.

If you want to know more just stay around and for enjoymen and learning one step at a time listen to Jewish World Radio.

Again, thanks for your message.

WAY, WAY BACK THERE {in one of the Books of the Law--I don't remember which} THE LORD SAID HE SETS BEFORE US LIFE AND DEATH. We get to choose. Personally, I choose life. So far I can find no greater life or purer truth than the one who said: "I AM the way, the truth, and the life." Our Heavenly Father does not want anyone living with Him who does not want to be there. None of us deserve to go live with Him. It is because He is our sacrificial Lamb we get to go. Hey those Laws in the Pentetuch are still in force. He kept the Law for me, because as a great big sinner and I can't. He is now in the process of giving me His righteousness. Now that is a miracle!

Hi again Verna,

Thanks for your comments.

Let me address a couple of your comments.

First, Our Father, Adonay, is not the sacrificial Lamb. The sacrifical Lamb was the last activitiy of the Jews before leaving Egypt. The lamb in Egypt its a god, and as such we were commanded by Adonay, to eat it in defiance to the egyptians. (Like eating a cow in India today.)

Second, the lamb sacrificaial will ONLY protect the first born, not need for the rest of the people; so by default if Jesus was the lamb, first he will be a god of the egyptians and will only save the first borns.

Its true that God is merciful and we are save by His grace... but we do need to be obedient to His commandments. No one can be obidient in my behalve. We can be righteous; God provide for us the way to be righteous, Isaias 43:25-26, 44:6-8; 21-23.

Adonay is the Only One, there is NO other.

Allways a pleasure to receive your comments,

Moshe ben Levi

Shalom. Where there are people, there will be corruption. Yes, the Catholic church had a large period where there was alot if institutional corruption. This is undeniable and utterly tragic. I am a protestant with dear Jewish friends and family. I believe that all true Christians love the Jews and the nation of Israel. At least I know this to be true among all my Christian friends. I am of the same mind as people like Corrie Ten Boom who was a protestant and who helped many Jewish people escape the holocaust (she was honored with Israel's "Righteous Among The Nations" award). One of my three favorite heroes (in my lifetime) is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. I highly recommend his book "A Durable Peace". Anytime I hear a news story about a violent tragedy in Israel, it stabs me in the heart. I worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob. I love the law of Moses. The only difference is that I concluded Yeshua was the one spoken of in Isaiah 55 who was "wounded for our transgressions". If it bears out that I was mistaken, surely, God can see my heart and knows I tried to honor him. Surely good people can disagree. As the Torah says: "Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness". May all the blessings of Elohim be upon you! I stand with you and appreciate your work! Love to you from Florida..

Shalom Vann,

Thanks for your comments. Long time that I do notvisit my own blogs. My apologies not to aswer you befre. It is true that many chritians friends support and love the Jews and we do apreciate that very deep in our heart.

Try reading the book of Isaiah before chapter 55 (I think you mean 53:5 but is ok) in the following chapteer and verses: 41:8,9 42:1, 19, 43:10, 44:1, 2, 21, 45:4, 48:20, 49:3,5 and so on... you will realize that God called Jacob his servant... suddenly in chapter 53 he changed to Yeshua??? We do not think so.

Most of the christians when they read Isaiah chapter 53:9 they force the scriptures to identify Jesus at the cross and the tomb with this verse; if you read it very carefully you will see that he went to the tomb of a rich man, and his death was with the poor contrary to what happened to him.

Jesus try to be our Moshia but he failed to fullfill the messianic scriptures and then the Church incorporated a lot of practices that has nothing to do with Jesus the Jew. One simple statement from Jesus identify him as a Jew: Mark 12:29 "Shema Yisrael, Adonay eloheinu, Adonay Ehad! Then the Church brought the trinity, something he never procalimed.

You want to know more? You are invited to send me questions to moshebenlevi@yahoo.com and I will answer them.

May HaShem bless you and all your family,

Mose
