Reverb in Seattle was a damn good time. The Rodeo rolled in for a 6 pm show. Who would of guessed they would be turning people away at the door of the Tractor Tavern? It was beyond capacity! Seems like Seattle-ites are catching on to this shit. Here's what Sara Brickner from the Seattle Weekly wrote:

Who: Brent Amaker and the Rodeo
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Tractor Tavern
I like Brent Amaker and the Rodeo's records, but they pale in
comparsion to the band's live shows, which include a super sexy
burlesque dancer named Bunny Monroe prancing around in pasties and
Amaker "baptizing" unsuspecting audience members with whiskey. What's
not to love? You'll especially want to pick up their new record, called
Please Stand By (longtime Rodeo fans will get the reference),
that comes with a very graphic X-rated comic book. People were lined up
out the door at the Tractor Tavern to see this show -- one girl said
she'd been coming to the Tractor for years and had never had to wait to
get in before -- and if you go to their next show, you'll understand
why.
In my interview with him, Mr. Amaker said he and his band won't be the next buzz band in Seattle...but after that set, I beg to differ.
