Been a bit since I've put anything new up, so here goes a short venting. I was contacted a few months ago to do a costume for an upcoming event happening in a far away city. I was given the due date which was a few months away. No problem, should have it finished well before due date. Off I went patterning, cutting and sewing up all the pieces. My client kept tabs on the progress of the costume, cause the event is really special. At the beginning of April, the client moved the due date up by 10 days. Great!!!My jolly ass had to kick it into gear to tie up the loose ends of the costume. Welp, I completed the costume a full 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Packaged it all up and sent it away. E-mailed the client that it had been sent and I checked UPs everyday until it hit their door. WooHoo!! I again e-mailed the client to see how they liked it and if it arrived in good condition. That was back on April 15. And to my surprise I have not heard anything back from the client. Nothing, Nil, Nada, Hell I'd a taken a "looks like shit". I'm not stressing the time and money I put into it. I'm just a bit torked by the no replies. Shit man, it's common courtesy to atleast thank someone for their work. Peace, Mark
