Hello America, Rob here.  For those of you not in the know, I'm the newest member of team Revivalist.  I'd been sitting in with the band for a few months and I had the privelege of joining them on tour this past June, which was an incredible experience.  As of a few weeks ago I've become a full-time member of the band, and you can really tell that the guys are already regretting their decision.

So what do I do in the band?  Well, I play the saxophone and make a few other noises onstage in order to round out our sound, but I like to think most of my contributions are intangible.  You know how in any group dynamic there's always the one guy with the conscience who acts as the group's moral anchor?  Well, I'm not sure who that is; it's probably Campy.  He's a good guy.

I'm not.  I take disgusting, masochistic shots with George.  I make jokes so offensive(read: unfunny) that I even make myself feel uncomfortable sometimes.  I dance like an idiot onstage.  During our most recent Tipitina's show a fan threw his underwear at me.  Yes, his.

And now that I have access to our myspace, I'm going to make an effort to keep all of you internet people updated about all things Revivalists-intensive.  Hopefully no one will have to get hurt.

I don't want to put too many words in one entry, because words are boring, so I'll cut this off here.  My first proper update is coming very soon (like probably later today).  In the meantime, as thanks for bearing with me, I present to you a picture of an unhappy-looking dog wearing a Yoda costume:

Yoda is like 6,000 years old in dog years.
