The Columbus Lions have announced the first tryout date and location for the 2009 season. The daylong session will begin with registration at 10am and conclude @ 2pm. The tryout is on Nov 9th at Columbus Civic Center, in Columbus, GA.

Participants will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, the 20-yard short shuttle, and a variety of team and position drills. The tryout is for all positions including kickers. There is a $55 registration fee (cash or money order).
Participants can pre-register for $40 by downloading the REGISTRATION FORM at the bottom of the page and mailing/faxing it in along with payment to:

Current Starter and Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Damian Daniels, AIFA All-Star Keon Newson, and QB Matt Makaryk are products of the team's open tryout.
