Hi luvs.
Sasha & Motoroadeo MMC album project is really coming along fierce.  It's great to have our songs past the throw down demo stage.   You know...THE SKETCH, as I like to refer to it. 

When you finally are putting the finishing touches on a song, it's like standing back, looking at a canvas, perhaps adding color here and there.  Maybe blending something more... so the colors mix better.  In this case we're using sound.  

I love the production process. In fact, I love the entire process of creating music.  Every bit of it is so intense and really digs deep into your soul.  Even laying a track down and recording it just so...just so it is what it is in its sweet moment...capturing the vibe...and then, if it doesn't work, back to the songwriting board. 

Some songs will tumble from your heart and soul in minutes....others might take a year.  Because you came up with a concept and the concept wasn't ready to entirely be at that moment...it's some beautiful work of art that is to come.  And suddenly, out of no where, lyrics and melody start rushing forward and you just got to pull over and start humming or singing, or licking the verse. 

I've got songs tons of them in a folder at all different stages.  Just today I wrote two concepts down that I love and wrote a few lines for each.  I know they will roll along when they're ready to do so.  Maybe later on today.  Who knows?

Today Patrick is performing at The Opry here in Nashville with his boss Tracy Lawrence.  I'm really blessed to have a chrome charming who is also a music maestro.  Patrick and I are totally spagetti and meatballs.... ha ha ha.   Patrick and I do alot of writing, recording, producing together.  How cool...we go for a ride on the motorcycles then come back home and work on music. Sometimes, I'll multi task and do my art jeans at the same time I'm mixing a record with Patrick.  The other day I was doing some embroidery stuff to my jeans at the same time some tracks were being recorded.  Artwork zones me out and I can do two things at once.  I just love art...all kinds...all kinds every day.
It's really great to get our songs past the demo stage.  I'm creating a press release soon about the single and writing a bunch in the new Bikerlady/Chrome Cowgirl newsletter.
