Sunday
After a nice morning cruising Miami and eating some outstanding food, off to New Smyrna Beach we go.  We show up about 3 hours early to get one last swim at the beach.  The water was warm and the sand was soft, what else can you ask for?

This was definitely one of our best shows all tour.  We went on second after A League Too Long.  I sincerely thought this band was fantastic.  I was expecting to play with Sounds Like Justice, but their drummer bailed so their side project played.  It was awesome.  We played second, right after them.  And had a blast.

We finally had a truly awesome bar show.  All the 21+ shows we play in Atlanta are cool, but never as cool as this show.  New Smyrna Beach claims to love ska, and they definitely showed me they did after this show.  We had an encore and sold CDs to many.  The venue was SUPER awesome too.  It had a very open, beachy feel to it.

I had to haul ass home afterwards.  I had class at 8:00am and made it back to Atlanta at 7:30.  On the way home, I finally had to pleasure of getting to eat at Whataburger.  We tried to get it so many times and we finally had it on the way home.  Holy shit, those burgers are nuts.

Monday

Monday night we played at Wonder Root in Atlanta.  It was cool playing with some of our good friends again.  We played with Turbo Slaughter, The Disregardables, and for the first time ever, Paranoia Dance Party.

Turbo Slaughter has gotten so good.  They opened the show and tore it up.  In only a few months, they have progressed so quickly.  Go see them the next chance you have.  We played next and really enjoyed it.  Saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd who we missed so dearly.

Paranoia Dance Party and The Disregardables closed the show and killed it.  Had the crowd on the edge of their so called seats.  We were all exhausted at this show but somehow found the energy to love it.  It was a great cap to a great tour.

It takes 1,000 years to a plastic bag to decompose, so bring your own.
